DAD HACKS: Cloth Diapers

DAD HACKS: Cloth Diapers

In this Dad Hacks episode I share everything you need to know to get started with cloth diapers. We have used them with our both our daughters for over 2 years. It has saved us a ton of money, helps the environment, and is much easier than I had ever thought! Don't dismiss cloth diapers before listening to this episode.

HELPFUL LINKS:

These are the "Pocket Diapers" we use and recommend:
POCKET DIAPERS

We recommend having a starting stash of 15-20 diapers. Babies go through about 8-10 diapers per day. We do diaper laundry about every other day.

These are the "Travel Wet Bags" we use to store dirty diapers / dirty clothes:
TRAVEL WET BAGS

We use the big pocket for diapers and the front pocket for wet clothes. We turn these inside out and throw them in the laundry with the dirty diapers.

These are the "Reusable Pail Liners" for the nursery:
REUSABLE PAIL LINERS

These go in a regular 13gal trash pail. We have this one:
13GAL TRASH PAIL

No need for a diaper genie or special diaper genie bags. These reusable pail liners go in the wash with the diapers.
